Black Lounge Film Series presents an introspective look into filmmaker, Terence Nance merging the Art and Film World together in a night of conversation and Film on Friday, August 10th at 7pm at Art Africa Miami in Overtown. Tickets are $15 for General Admission and $5 for Overtown Residents.
With a background in visual arts, Terence Nance is multimedia artist and filmmaker engaging and reconstructing film, music and animation. Join Black Lounge Films for an evening of Nance’s short film work and a dialogue of self-reflection and examination through cinema and art. Nance has recently wrapped up a new TV Series, «Random Acts of Flyness» that begins its inaugural season on HBO this summer. Nance’s clever and intriguing artistry has awarded him a unique place in today’s world of independent filmmaking.
Erin Christovale, co-founder of Black Radical Imagination and assistant curator of Hammer Museum in Los Angeles will be moderating the discussion. We also have music provided by Carter Jackson-Brown.
