Miami Dade College (MDC) Hialeah Campus will launch the first ever Hialeah Art, Music, and Food Festival for families in the community to enjoy on Saturday, March 24, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
The festivities will include an art show and sale, food trucks, live music, a kids’ craft area, bounce houses, giveaways, and much more. There will also be a special performance by Afro-Cuban Funk Band, PALO!
The event is presented by the Hialeah Campus Cultural Center, which was originally established with the support of a Knight Arts Challenge grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation in 2015. The center’s mission is to celebrate the arts and culture of the Hialeah and MDC community by providing opportunities for students and visitors to interact with innovative and unique multi-format exhibitions.
