Come hang with us for a fun afternoon of activities, education, workshops, movement and music as we celebrate our mother… Mother Earth!
This event was created is to elevate consciousness, raise awareness, and educate our community about green initiatives and how each person can reduce their carbon footprint and make a positive impact, locally and globally.
Some areas of focus this year are: reducing the use of single-use plastics, reducing food waste through cooking techniques and composting, sourcing consciously and locally, growing one’s own food, cleaning up our local communities, and creating more awareness of our local parks and beaches. The primary goal is to introduce our community to a variety of people, ideas, concepts, businesses, flavors, and avenues to get involved in more environmentally conscious ways.
Start saving your #5 plastics to bring with you so that they can be recycled by Whole Foods Market's «Gimme 5» recycling program. Also, bring used jars and aluminum cans, as well as old clothes to be used at the up-cycled workshop and beyond.
There will be layered activities and programming throughout the entire day, including:

As the festival winds down, our environmental activism gets going at 4:30 with a collaborative community clean up with Surfrider Foundation Miami Chapter and Debris Free Oceans.
