Historic Stranahan House Museum
335 SE 6th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33301
Have you ever wondered why you were drawn to live near the beach? Or why some of your best childhood memories took place in a pool? Turns out we are naturally drawn to water and new research is showing us that time spent in, on, under, and near water makes us healthier, happier, and better at what we do!
Join us at the beautiful Stranahan House for a wine and cheese reception with Marine Biologist, Paola Espitia, where we will explore the cognitive, psychological, and physical benefits of healthy oceans and waterways. By the end, you will gain a new understanding of what is «Blue Mind» and learn ideas of what you can do to protect the water that brings you so much joy.
Paola is a local Marine Biologist turned Communicator and budding Wave Maker. Co-founder of Multimedia Agency, Ola'pi Creative and Blue Discovery Eco Tours, her mission is to inspire a sustainable society by connecting people to the ocean.
Cost is $5 for members of the Stranahan House and $10 for the general public.
RSVP by emailing your name and phone number to [email protected]
