Video content is the future of how to position yourself and tell your story online.
How comfortable are you with creating video that reflects you?
We are over the moon to welcome two incredibly talented entrepreneurs from the Digital Grass Innovation and Technology Team — Michael Hall, Founder and CEO and LaToya Stirrup, President, to talk to us about the power of video and how we can create compelling video content for our brands!
Entrepreneur, producer, strategist…LaToya Stirrup likes to get things done. With over thirteen years of experience in advertising and marketing, LaToya is able to bring a wealth of knowledge to any business challenge. LaToya’s professional experience is rooted in the many consumer product, media and entertainment brands she has managed across nine years at three award winning ad agencies: Ogilvy, AgencyTen and The Community. In 2013, LaToya decided it was time to become her own CEO and leverage her diverse experience as an independent strategic consultant and project manager. As part of her entrepreneurial journey, LaToya is one of the founding members and president of Digital Grass, which is a Knight Foundation grantee committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the tech and innovation sectors. Additionally, LaToya has joined forces with her sisters to launch Kazmaleje, a company that is creating innovative, lifestyle amplifying tools and accessories for women with curls. Beyond her professional career, LaToya is also actively involved in several community organizations and committees focused on historic preservation, technology, economic development and service.
As Founder of Digital Grass, a social impact group and diversity accelerator, Michael's focus is to ensure that diversity is included in the technology and innovation landscape. Digital Grass' accelerator co-creates with companies led by minorities, women and/or LGBT through programs such as CITEE (Continuing Innovation Technology Education and Entrepreneurship) Summit, a series of 8 interactive lectures covering vital topics impacting entrepreneurs in an interactive classroom format, 2 Techies a 13 webisode season of leaders in innovation and technology, and a weekly show of Tech, Beats & Bytes with tastemakers of South Florida in the culinary, hospitality, technology and entertainment industry.
