We're doing it again, this time in Miami. We had a lot of people who wanted to go the first time but couldn't make the drive. This is for female and female identifying improvisers only. All levels, all theatres/schools, all ages welcome. It doesn't matter if you've taken 1 class or 1,000, whether you're on a house team or have never performed. It doesn't matter if we've never met. You are welcome here. Let's talk. We want to hear about your experiences as an improviser in our community. We want to know what you want to see more of, less of, what we can do to make this a safer, more fair, inclusive and well represented community. Our goal is to take these wants and make them realities. This is the first of what I anticipate will be a series of talks. After this one, I think we'll open it up to everyone so that we can can all listen to understand. But first, let's talk to each other in a space where we don't have to sensor our words or worry about protecting the feelings of the male players we love. Ultimately, we're looking to create a contract for our South Florida community that we adhere to as well as a clear path to take if anyone feels overlooked, unsafe, undervalued. I hope that all theatres/schools will help promote this free event. This is about all of us.
