Vedic Thai Assisted Yoga is a surrendering release which allows deeper physical and mental openings. Flowing rhythmic compressions using the feet, knees, palms, elbows, forearms and fingers are blended with exotic stretching positions and breath control.
The techniques will effectively produce a balanced and harmonious symbiotic communication integrating the body’s vital systems. It is addressing the releasing of the energy blocks, freeing the energy channels of congested negative emotions and thoughts.
In this workshop you will experience a sample of these techniques to gain a better understanding of what Vedic Thai Assisted Yoga is and how it can benefit you. You will be partnered up to experience both giving and receiving, learning a few basic techniques to share with friends and family.

Tony has been practicing yoga for over 3 years and enjoys practicing all styles of yoga. He loves meeting students and sharing his passion for yoga with everyone, which is evident the second you meet him. Inversions are his favorite part of practice, he is happiest when he is upside down on his mat. He is the Founder and Owner of Omstead Yoga. He is CPR and First Aid Certified, has a Certificate in Meditation/Mindfulness, Certificate with the Sound Healing Academy, 200hr Certification in Classical Yoga Ashtanga/Vinyasa, Certificate in Yoga for Athletes with Red Cheetah Yoga, studied basic Sanskrit and completed the 200hr YogAnatomy online training course through David Keil. He studies Traditional Vedic Thai Yoga Bodywork with Famous Guru «Mukti» Michael Buck with the Vedic Conservatory. He offers private sessions of Vedic Thai Assisted Yoga (Thai Yoga Bodyworks) Sessions here at Green Monkey Yoga Coral Gables. If you enjoy being assisted in a typical yoga class, a private session will help release fascia muscle by utilizing the proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (or PNF) techniques to gain flexibility. Using mild compression to the body’s connective tissue to reduce tightness and open up energy channels in the body.
