Charlotte von Moos will present a lecture, 'Living — An Activity' in Glasgow Hall, 6:30 — 8PM.

von Moos is a practicing architect based in Basel, Switzerland. She received her formal education at ETH Zurich, and after graduation collaborated with Herzog & de Meuron, where she was in charge of the VitraHaus in Weil am Rhein. She has been a teaching assistant of Valerio Olgiati at the Accademia di Architettura in Mendrisio, and from 2010 until 2016 taught at ETH Studio Basel – Institute of the Contemporary City and Harvard GSD with Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron. Together with Florian Sauter she is a founding partner of Sauter von Moos – an architectural office that is engaged in work on all scales, both in theory and practice. They won the Swiss Architecture Award for best 1st Building in 2015, and will be present with a large-scale installation at this year’s Architecture Biennial in Chicago.
