50 guests will begin the evening at the beautiful NSU Oceanographic Center in Dania Beach with a presentation given by one of the sea turtle experts, providing guests with a thorough overview of sea turtle biology and the conservation program. Immediately following the presentation, guests will meet on the beach in Hollywood to witness a sea turtle hatchling release.

EVENT IS SOLD OUT AT THIS TIME.
Ticket prices are $10 per person and are a donation directly to the sea turtle program, therefore no refunds will be given out for any reason.
THIS EVENT IS LIMITED TO 50 PEOPLE — once capacity is reached, tickets will no longer be available for that date.

General Itinerary:
7:40pm arrive at Halmos College of Natural Sciences and Oceanography at NSU, 8000 N Ocean Dr., Dania Beach, FL 33004, Inside the Von D. Mizell and Eula Johnson State Park.

8:00pm — Start the sea turtle lecture by one of the Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation Program Staff

8:45ish — Finish presentation and have a chance for everyone to see the hatchlings that we have on site. These are individuals that were taken out of excavated nests on the morning survey.

9:00pm — 9:15 pm — Drive out of Von D. Mizell and Eula Johnson State Park and head south on A1A about 2 miles to Green Street. Private parking is provided (free of charge) for the beach portion of the evening.
Once everyone is parked, we will walk to the beach and setup to release the hatchlings. The babies are given the opportunity to crawl down the beach and head out to the ocean for the start of their long journey!
Private event is over by 10:00PM depending on how many babies we have and how fast they move down the beach. However folks are free to leave at anytime after the release begins!

**** Additional rules/procedures will be discussed on site. ****
All sea turtle activities carried out for this event are done in accordance with FWC Marine Turtle Guidelines and are conducted by authorized personnel under FWC MTP-15-214.
